FLINT, MI — Flint’s Diplomat Pharmacy was recently nationally recognized for its education training program during a specialty pharmacy competition.
Diplomat, the nation’s largest independent specialty pharmacy, has been selected as one of two winners in the 2014 Innovations in Specialty Pharmacy Competition, held by Specialty Pharmacy Solutions, LLC.
Diplomat was honored as a top innovator for their Diplomat University Education & Training program, according to a press release. Through Diplomat University, the company has implemented a large scale training program that is customizable for both internal and external audiences.
From ‘Specialty Pharmacy 101’ to the basics of partnerships to injection training, Diplomat has a curriculum in place to meet the needs of a variety of clients.
The annual competition seeks to identify, select and showcase U.S.-based specialty pharmacies moving the industry forward through the development of innovative strategies, services, tools and business concepts.
